Benedikt Busch

Having grown up internationally and spending several formative years in Boston during his childhood, Benedikt developed an early curiosity about different cultures, consumer habits, and the role food plays in bringing people together. This international perspective has influenced both his personal interests and professional career ever since.

He completed his BSc at Maastricht University SBE with an exchange in Sydney, before starting his career in Investment Banking at Berenberg. There, he advised companies and investors on M&A and financing transactions across a range of industries, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis, strategic positioning, and deal execution.

Interested in the growing role of data and technology in business decision-making, he pursued an MSc in Business Analytics at Nova SBE in Lisbon, Portugal. Following his studies, he joined SevenVentures, where he spent several years investing in growth-stage consumer businesses. Through working closely with innovative companies across the food ecosystem, he became increasingly convinced of the importance of building more sustainable, healthy, and resilient food systems.

Motivated by his interest in food and sustainable nutrition, he joined Zintinus to combine his investment experience with a sector he is personally passionate about. Outside of work, Benedikt is an enthusiastic home cook who enjoys exploring new cuisines and bringing people together around great food. When not in the kitchen, he can often be found on padel courts, traveling, or discovering new restaurants and food concepts.
